Opting to eat healthily provides great benefits and is becoming a more popular way of life. The overall economy is impacted by the number of people who are dealing with diseases such as high blood pressure, which is directly linked to poor eating habits. Although we’re constantly being encouraged to adopt healthy eating habits, it is also easier than ever to rely on fast food and other convenience items that are not good for us. In all likelihood, most people think that it takes a lot of work to eat healthily and that they will need to drastically change their way of life. It is possible, however, to make several simple changes that can start to make a good impact on our day-to-day eating habits.

If you want to see results, it is definitely not a necessity to drastically alter your eating habits. It’s not a bad idea if you want to make considerable changes, but the most crucial thing is to gradually switch to making healthier eating choices. Eventually, you will see that you actually prefer to ingest healthy foods after you have eaten that way for a while. Like many other habits, change happens over a period of time and as soon as a new way of eating becomes part of who you are, you are not going to feel the need to revert to your old diet.

Thus, it should be quite obvious that it’s not difficult to add healthy eating to your life.

We hope you got insight from reading it, now let’s go back to garlic shrimp alfredo recipe. To cook garlic shrimp alfredo you only need 6 ingredients and 10 steps. Here is how you cook that.

The ingredients needed to make Garlic Shrimp Alfredo:
  1. Take Linguine (use however much you need)
  2. Get Small (60-80 count) Shrimp, tail off
  3. Prepare Alfredo
  4. Get Cut Broccoli
  5. Provide Butter
  6. Get Garlic Powder
Instructions to make Garlic Shrimp Alfredo:
  1. You will need a lot of stove top space as everything is cooked separately and combined in a casserole dish at the end.
  2. Thaw shrimp. Hopefully you have the kind that came without a shell or tail, otherwise you need to remove all inedible parts. Wal-Mart has a 60-80 count bag with tail off for about $5.
  3. Place a pot of water to boil on the stove. Use high heat and salt the water. Place a large skillet on the stove and melt butter with medium heat. Sprinkle garlic powder into melted butter (as much as you like but the flavor with dissipate during cooking). Place a small sauce pan on the stove and put alfredo sauce in it. Do not start that yet. You will also need to prepare your broccoli (I use the microwave).
  4. Once butter is melted and seasoned, add shrimp. Spread them out so they are not on top of each other. Let them cook slowly. Do not allow the butter to come to a simmer. Stir frequently until no longer pink.
  5. While cooking the shrimp, add your pasta to your boiling water. Cook as per package instructions.
  6. Start cooking the alfredo on medium low heat. Stir occasionally. Start cooking your broccoli.
  7. Once the shrimp is cooked, sprinkle more garlic powder over shrimp (as much as desired though it will not cook down now). Cover and remove from heat.
  8. Hopefully everything else is cooking and almost done!
  9. Once the pasta is cooked, drain and add to casserole dish. Then add your cooked broccoli. Then shrimp with melted butter on top of that. Finally top with alfredo. Mix thoroughly.
  10. Serve. Cover when not in use. Refrigerate leftovers.
