The ingredients needed to cook Nawabi Shemai:
  1. Take Preparing the Shemai
  2. Get lacha shemai
  3. Prepare table spoons Ghee
  4. Get table spoons powder milk
  5. Get table spoons sugar
  6. Prepare For the mawa
  7. Prepare liquid milk
  8. Prepare condensed milk
  9. Provide cup sugar
  10. Take table spoons of corn flour mixed with 1/3 cup water
Instructions to make Nawabi Shemai:
  1. Take a pan and put the ghee in the pan and let it heat. When the ghee has heated up add the whole packet of shemai (break the shemai in the packet to small pieces prior to adding to the ghee).
  2. Cook shemai untill the color changes and turns into light brown. Then add the powder milk and sugar and stir for 3-5 mins. Once done let it cool.
  3. Now for the mawa take a pan and pour the liquid milk and bring it to boil. Once the milk is boiling add the condensed milk, sugar and conr flour and keep on stirring. At this point do not stop stirring as it may end up sticking to the bottom of the pan. Once the mixture slightly thickens up turn off the stove and let it cool down a little.
  4. Now take a dish where you want to serve and put down a layer of shemai. Top it off with mawa and then repeat the step. Garnish with grounded pistachios and almond. And your dish will be ready
