- Take 6 C water
- Take 1 t kosher salt
- Prepare 2 C white corn grits
- Provide 3 T butter
- Take 2 C cheddar cheese (grated)
- Provide 1 T + butter for every slice you intend to fry

- In a large pot over high heat, bring water to a boil.
