The ingredients needed to make Shrimp and Grits:
  1. You need salt
  2. Get pepper
  3. Provide 1 medium white onion
  4. You need 1 lb large shrimp
  5. Provide 1/3 cup olive oil
  6. Use 8 oz grits
  7. Take 1 can vegetable of your choice
  8. Take 1 chicken broth (optional)
Instructions to make Shrimp and Grits:
  1. Cook Grits according to package. (You can use chicken stock to give it more flavor.) Once finish cooking add salt and pepper to taste. Cover pot and set aside.
  2. While grits are cooking, chop white onion into slivers and set aside.
